Kilkenny GAA Supporters Club was founded in 1991. The aim of the Supporters Club is to work in collaboration with Kilkenny GAA County Board to provide funding and organisational assistance across a range of initiatives and events e.g.
We would encourage as many people as possible from the Kilkenny GAA community, at home and abroad, to join the Kilkenny GAA Supporters Club. Our hurling and camogie teams have brought honour to the county, both in victory and defeat, over the years. Our players and management have been great ambassadors for our county, both on and off the field and we take justifiable pride in their achievements, even erecting statues to them! Hurling and camogie are part of our everyday conversation in Kilkenny – they are part of who we are as Kilkenny people. We believe that it is only right therefore, that we have the best possible structures, facilities and supports in place to ensure that current and future Kilkenny teams can compete at the highest level in all grades. The role of Kilkenny GAA Supporters Club is to collaborate with the Kilkenny GAA County Board in funding an agreed set of initiatives and assisting with fundraising ventures throughout the year. We would also like the Kilkenny GAA Supporters Club to become a community of support and goodwill for our teams, not just on match days, but all year round.
Fundraising
We run annual fundraising events to augment membership fees and when Kilkenny teams reach All-Ireland finals we organise specific events to assist with the additional funding requirements.

Support
We support Kilkenny GAA at all levels – equipment and coaching at schools level; development squads; underage county teams and senior county teams.
Running our club
Kilkenny GAA Supporters Club aims to give financial and organisational support to Kilkenny GAA County Board initiatives; keep our members informed of team selections and of developments in Kilkenny GAA; encourage support for those businesses who are loyal supporters of Kilkenny GAA and develop a community of goodwill for our teams.
We bring the thousands of Kilkenny Hurling Supporters in contact with the many businesses in Kilkenny, who are loyal supporters of our proud hurling tradition. We do this mainly through the official Kilkenny GAA website, which enjoys over 25,000 hits per month. This gives our Business Members continuous advertising for 12 months at a very nominal cost.
